By accident and sheer good luck I found Lavardin. It is a tourist town, but none of the tourists are Americans. This is a village the French come to see. It has a story that spans recorded history, yet a population of less than 300. It has two great restaurants and a tempting bakery but no gas stations. Take a virtual tour and discover the charms of Lavardin, the most French of French villages.
